Erica Leigh is a smokey, soulful singer-songwriter whose unique sound can be described as: Heart-strung Pop with a classic dose of Jazz and R&B. With poetic lyrics and heartfelt vocals, she holds no part of herself back, writing songs that linger with listeners for long after they’ve ended.
Erica recently worked alongside John Mayer as part of his weeklong songwriting and production clinic at Berklee College of Music in Boston. While studying at the college she was recognized for her talents with songwriting awards from well-known performance rights organizations such as ASCAP and SESAC. She was also featured in key performances such as the Performer-Songwriter Showcase and Songwriter Night at the Berklee Performance Center for her winning song “Needing a Change”. Taking the stage in front of thousands, Erica has performed in choirs backing up names like pop-country recording artist Jo Dee Messina and folk singer Judy Collins. She has also performed at distinguished venues such as Boston’s Symphony Hall and it’s legendary Hatch Shell.
Truly a down-to-earth, thrill-of-the-moment girl at heart, Erica is inspired by how deeply music can touch others and she’s filled with a passion to create meaningful and honest music about the human experience. With her rapidly growing success as a performer, recording artist and songwriter, there is undoubtedly much more to come from Erica Leigh!
