Erica Leigh is: An ASCAP & SESAC award-winning Songwriter hailing from Boston, MA. Her original wedding song "Our Love" from her debut album Puzzle Heart has been featured in 7 weddings in 3 different countries, and counting. She is currently working on new releases for 2019!
Performing Artist: Erica's fans describe her voice as Paula Cole meets Sara Bareilles, sprinkled with electronic elements comparable to the likes of Imogen Heap. On stage she is a captivating storyteller + entertainer, often making audiences laugh and cry in a single set. She shares heartfelt accounts of the human experience like surviving cancer, authentic stories of relationships with loved ones, self-reflection, and occasionally the sassy ode to an ex-lover, of course! Erica has sold out headlining shows at MA venues like Somerville's The Burren Backroom, and Framingham's Amazing Things Arts Center. She primarily performs her original music in New England but has ventured out as a featured artist in renowned places such as Nashville's "The Listening Room" stage.

Erica built a state-of-the-art vocal recording booth in her Framingham, MA studio where she records vocals for remote clients. She can sight-read music and sing in a wide variety of genres, with a rapid turnover. Her voice has been featured on a number of other albums - some of which, were recorded & mixed by 2-time Grammy award-winning Producer Ben Wisch (Marc Cohn, Jonatha Brooke, Diana Krall). These include: backing vocals on David Lockwood's Lucky Me (2010) & Modern Love (2013) (backing vocals + lead vocals on 2 tracks) & lastly, Walter Finley's Walk With Me (2014) which included a duet featuring her lead vocals. Cancer Survivor + Uplifting Community Figure: Erica nearly lost her voice permanently to Thyroid Cancer which spread to her lymph nodes: Watch the brief Documentary Here. Throughout her surgeries, radiation journey towards full recovery, Erica has deeply involved herself a guest speaker and performer at her hometown's American Cancer Society Relay for Life, a volunteer performer at MGH Boston's Yawkey Center for Cancer Care & has written songs to uplift and support cancer patients and care givers - for instance, her rally song "Calling All Survivors" is a rebellious anthem that stands up to cancer.
Teacher: She teaches songwriting workshops at places like the Hartt School of Music at Hartford University in CT + Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham, MA, as well as online at Outschool.com.
